How can I improve the quality of my notes?

To improve accuracy, focus on two key areas: the quality of audio input and the precision of your prompts.

1. Enhancing Audio Quality:

  • Ensure the audio quality is high by using a good microphone, adjusting the volume, and placing the microphone optimally.
  • Ensure you verbalise all key aspects of your session. You can always go back in and re add in more audio to optimise content

2. Crafting Effective Prompts:

  • Tailor prompts to your clinical style to ensure they align with your documentation preferences.
  • If you notice any inaccuracies in clinical notes, add the following guideline to your system:

  • Visit the prompt library to find prompts best suited for your clinical caseload.
  • Use the Prompt Builder tool to edit, refine, and create prompts that enhance your workflow.

How to Use the Prompt Builder Tool

The Prompt Builder tool allows you to efficiently create, edit, and improve prompts. Here’s how to make the most of it:

1. Edit and Improve an Existing Prompt

Steps:

  • Step 1: Go to Settings > Prompt Templates and select Edit to open your prompt.
  • Step 2: Scroll to the "Something missing..." section to provide feedback.
  • Step 3: Add specific feedback to enhance the prompt (e.g., make it more concise, add a consent section, increase detail in the patient’s history).
  • Step 4: Review and choose from suggested improvements. Refine the prompt until it meets your standard.

Tip: Re-engage the builder as needed for incremental improvements.

2. Create a New Prompt from Scratch

Steps:

  • Step 1: Go to Settings > Prompt Templates and select Import to create a new template.
  • Step 2: Either paste in an existing template, a sample clinical note for reference, or start with a simple command like “Create a clinical note for [assessment type].”
  • Step 3: The builder will generate a draft based on your input.
  • Step 4: Review and refine the draft with the tool’s suggestions for structure and content.

Tip: Providing detailed instructions initially will result in a closer match to your final vision.

Ensuring Accuracy with Feedback:

  • Use the thumbs up/down feature to rate drafts, allowing feedback to guide refinements for improved clinical notes or letters.
