Autodetect prompt

As of 27 May 2025, the "Autodetect" option in the prompt dropdown menu has been officially decommissioned from the PatientNotes interface.

❌ What’s Changed?

The Autodetect option will no longer appear in the prompt selection menu. This change was made to ensure greater accuracy and control over prompt selection, based on user feedback and performance improvements.

✅ What You Need to Do

To ensure the best results and most relevant output:

• Please select an individual prompt manually from the dropdown menu.

• Choosing a specific prompt ensures the AI generates content tailored to your clinical context and documentation needs.

ℹ️ Why This Change Was Made

While Autodetect was designed for convenience, our usage analysis showed that:

• Manual selection consistently produced higher-quality outputs.

• Users preferred control over the prompt selection to match specific workflows (e.g. physiotherapy notes, psychology sessions, nursing templates, etc).

By guiding users to select a prompt intentionally, we are improving consistency, reducing errors, and enhancing your documentation experience.
