Our 'Copy or Mark as Complete' feature transfers the data from your clinical notes or letters to your clipboard.
To transfer this data into your practice management system, simply paste it using your mouse, or use 'Ctrl + V' on Windows or 'Command + V' on Mac.
Before finalizing, you have the option to edit the drafts of your clinical notes or letters in PatientNotes.app. Once you're satisfied, you can select 'Copy' or 'Mark as Complete' to proceed with transferring your notes.
OR (top of page)
Even if your practice management system isn't one of our direct integrations, you can still use PatientNotes.app effectively.
While direct integration offers benefits like preloading a dashboard with patient names and syncing clinical notes back to your system, PatientNotes.app was designed with universal compatibility in mind. The copy-paste functionality ensures that you can still efficiently use PatientNotes.app for your clinical administration, regardless of your system's integration.
Using the redraft or refine feature
At the base of the clinical notes, you will see a section where you can ask for additions to the clinical notes based on the transcript. For example, if something was: missing, or required more detail or context.
This will create a new draft which will appear on the top right section of your notes
Note: if you find that you are regularly needing to refine your notes it is best to review your overall prompts to ensure that they are structured to optimise the detail and layout you require.
