To capture audio efficiently during telehealth sessions using Patientnotes.app, especially when encountering restrictions from telehealth platforms like Google Meet, an audio capture tool is essential. Google Meet, for instance, has recently updated its output settings, potentially limiting recording capabilities. This guide outlines the steps for setting up an effective audio capture system using Dipper.audio for Mac users (a Windows solution is in development).
Configuring Google Meet for Desktop Use
- Initiate Google Meet as a Desktop App:
- Navigate to the Google Meet website.
- Click on the "Settings" icon.
- Scroll down to "Save and Share", then click to expand it.
- Select "Install Google Meet" to add it to your desktop.
- Launch Google Meet from your desktop to ensure it runs correctly.
- Navigate to the Google Meet website.
