Important Update for Android Users with External Microphones

We've identified an issue where external microphones may not be recognized by the Chrome browser on Android devices. This appears to be a limitation of Chrome's current support for external audio devices. It is on some Samsung devices and Amazon Fire devices.

To confirm this issue open this testing tool (https://mictests.com/) in Chrome and see if it works, then retest in Firefox. If it does not work outside of Patientnotes.app then we are unable to assist.

What Can You Do?

• Switch to Another Browser: For the best experience using external microphones, we recommend using Firefox or another compatible browser on your Android device. These browsers currently support external mic functionality better.
